As they have done
in recent years the Pronovias fashion show was responsible for closing the
Barcelona Bridal Week 2014 with a spectacular show dubbed "The factory of
dreams" which was attended by over 2000 guests. The bridal fashion firm was
celebrating its 50th anniversary. The wedding dresses 2015 collection left no
one indifferent.
This year the catwalk
was inspired by “the dream’s factory” and perfectly reflected it in the decoration.
The building showed through lights and moving images, how they worked as if it
was a couture house.
The model Karolina
Kurkova was the responsible for opening and closing the parade at the Pasarela
Gaudi 2014 brides. She was wearing a mermaid cut embroidered dress, with designs
on transparencies and highlighting the rhinestones.
On the runway of this
last show of Barcelona Bridal Week 2014 we saw wedding dresses in various
styles and cuts. From gem dresses laden rhinestones, to dresses consisting on 2
pieces like skirts bulky tulle or feathers combined with blouses and with
jeweled belts. We also saw dresses that clinged to the figure of the woman through
lace, mikado and crepes, dressed in classic style with much more refined lines
and other high volume at the hips; no doubt that's going to Pronovias 2015
collection.
After the fashion
show there was a party that coincided with the Barcelona Bridal Week closing event.
The best models, national and international celebrities, personalities of the Spanish
society, culture and even politics were some of the guests of the party. Trays
of sushi, all kinds of canapés with singular forms, French champagne or raspberry
'macarons' were some of the temptations of the evening.
