Bailey Lalonde
presented her new fashion collection from Lalonde brand. She was with her
representative Laura García Guardans and with the model and image of the brand
Julia Rosenqvist.
The designer inspiration
was the jungle because she spent a lot of time there as a child, in the south
east of Asia, with elephants. The theme is savages from the jungle. Inspired in
Tarzan but more fashionable and thought up in the jungle.
The colors of the
clothes are: color of a lion, golden tones, beige, dark brown, purple tones and
green. The materials she used are: chiffon, velvet, sustainable materials,
bamboo materials.
Some celebrities
like Adriana Lima, Blake Lively or Dakota Fanning have been spotted wearing
Bailey’s clothes.
Everything is
handmade. And the prices are from 100€ for a little bra or crop top and between
150€ and 200€ for a skirt.
The target
collection are people that enjoy traveling and people that live life on the
edge and that want to experience the culture. Women from 22 to 35 years old. Is
a collection for fall/winter. She has been designing the collection for one and
a half years. And the brand was launched 6 years ago.
The designer described
the collection in 3 words as “luxurious, unique and comfortable”.
Julia has been
modeling for 5 years and she had a relationship with a rockstar. The shooting
took her back in time. She was very comfortable because she knew everyone
because she worked for the company for 5 years. Her words were: “It was very
funny, it was a blast to do it”.
As Laura said, the
collection should be out in two months and online in one and a half months.
The event is in a
secret location and in 48 hours the 150 guests will receive the invitations.
In the event, the
invited will be able to experience the garments.
The event starts
at 8.00-p.m with jungle music and later on live music from a famous brand.
The celebrities
invited are some of the ones that have previously worn the brand garments.
